A worn out knight goes off to kill a dragon secretly hoping it will kill him and put an end to the life he has come to hate But when he finds the dragon nothing goes at all the way he expectedNB This is an old old set of stories I wrote forever ago I was content to leave it gathering dust in my stories folder but I kept getting emails asking about it and so put it up here just for kicks I think someday when I have nothing better to do I’d like to rewrite these I really did have fun writing themOnline edition available at author's websiteWords 16946 Status complete

When I saw the word Dragon in the title just after finishing Dragon Stew I couldn’t resistWhile this is not the cute sweet read I was maybe hoping for it is still a worthy tale if you are in the mood for Knights and Kings and a Dragon Topaz is a bit different from the Dragons I’ve read lately but he still contains that spark of humour I so love in my Dragons lol

Romance fantasy magic and action It was a little bit of those four and had a very fast pace to make the story short which therefore resulted in lacking of everythingThe sample of that was that the dragon and the knight had the 'chemistry' but the romance didn't happen until the endingIt's not that satisfying but it was a good short read I think that it was an interesting story and has definitely a good plot to make a real book I hope it will be one in the future

A 35 for the writing as Megan Derr herself says the story is old and has its flaws but a heartwarming piece nonetheless

I love me a story about a dragon and a human most often warriors of a kind finding loveCan be read as a standalone but if you like this one you will also like the other two so do yourself a favour and read all three ; Here we encounter a knight captain tired of battle and death only wishing to be free but denied freedom by his king He sets out so hunt a dragon seeking his own death The dragon has other plans though and seeks his own freedom The two of them set out to achieve it togetherDerr writes on her website that she will rewrite the trilogy if she ever finds the time and motivation and I sure hope she does I would love to read these stories in details with on page development ♥

A little small kind of fairy talish story a typical Megan DerrAs always a light enjoyment for in between longer books concealing some very melancholic moments and deep thoughts underneath the seemingly airy flow and lighthearted feeling of her storiesThe next two parts in this series are definitely worth your while as well if you enjoyed this first one
